Anna joined HiDef in June 2022 as a Project Manager. She has a passion for the marine environment with a background in marine biology and ecology, having completed an undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Exeter in 2018. Her research involved mapping fish lifecycle biogeography amongst seagrass, mangroves and coral reefs. Anna is also an Advanced Open Water PADI diver.
During the pandemic, Anna worked at one of the lighthouse labs processing the nation’s COVID PCR tests. She led teams to process patient samples and project managed sample storage activities. Prior to this she worked as a Proposal Developer, project managing international teams to plan clinical trials. Anna also has experience in consultancy from her time working with biotechnology companies in Australia.
