As workload increases HiDef are pleased to announce two new members of staff have been added to the ranks to support our expansion. Dr Katherine Keogan joins as a Marine Data Scientist having previously worked in government, academic and consultancy roles. A marine ornithologist with a background in statistical analysis she will be based in Edinburgh.
Jaz Harker joins the team in Cumbria from a background in marine biology. Her research so far has primarily focused on marine mammals, assessing the distribution of large whales and more recently, risk mapping the bycatch of northwest European small cetaceans.
