Will has a varied background in engineering disciplines gained from his MEng in Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering from the University of Leeds in 2018. He works closely alongside a variety of departments within the business for the ongoing development of integral procedures and researching new technologies to continually improve the services that HiDef can offer.
He has experience across a wide range mechanical and electrical engineering-based projects, from design and build of lunar rovers to the analysis of turbine stages in aircraft engines using a variety of computational tools. His internship with the University of Leeds researching cooling air flows through data centres gave him a strong understanding of the requirements and procedures for research-based roles and a keen passion for continued learning that eventually brought him to HiDef. Will also enjoys self-build projects outside of work that complement and build on the methods he uses in his day-to-day work as well as developing hands-on skills that are advantages to his work with HiDef.
