Rebecca joined HiDef in 2025, having worked for 10 years as a researcher and field biologist in academia. Much of her past work has involved collecting, analysing, and summarizing complex ecological data for publication in peer-reviewed research journals. This has included work assessing how wild populations of Antarctic fur seals and St Kilda Soay sheep adapt to their environment. She has also worked to assess the appropriateness of different statistical tests for the analysis of data using R.
Rebecca’s previous work has made her acutely aware of the impacts human activities have on our natural world. She is motivated to support HiDef and sustainable development projects that consider our natural environment.
